When you elected me to the City Council I promised that I would fight wasteful spending, make our neighborhoods safer, and improve our aging infrastructure. In just two years, we have made tremendous progress.

 

I led the charge to modernize Fort Worth’s antiquated permitting system, significantly reducing costs for taxpayers and helping keep development projects moving. I fought to cut the tax rate dramatically and eliminate wasteful spending in our most recent budget and will continue working to reduce your property tax burden.

 

We secured additional funding for Fort Worth Police and Fire to hire more officers and acquire technology to keep citizens safe. And I brought our community together to develop a plan to reduce crime and improve services to the Last Vegas Trail area.

 

As our city continues to grow, we must prioritize infrastructure projects that reduce traffic and harden our water system against growth and inclement weather. These projects will be difficult, but I have never been afraid to work hard to ensure your voice is heard at City Hall.

 

I am again asking for your support so we can keep making Fort Worth the best place to live, work, play and raise a family.
